(GREENWOOD, IN) – The College Sports Communicators announced their 2024-2025 women's tennis Academic All-District Teams Tuesday afternoon and the Saints had two student-athletes recognized. These student-athletes are seniors
Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, OH / Tippecaneo) and
Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain / IES Las llamas Santander). Student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III as well as the NAIA are recognized for this honor.
To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a sophomore both academically and athletically. They must have competed in 90% of the institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets. The student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate students must have a minimum of a 3.50 for both their graduate program GPA and their undergraduate GPA.
Dakota Schroeder is a Business Administration major with a 3.57 GPA. She posted a season record of 11-6 in singles play and 10-8 in doubles play.
Noelia Martinez Garcia is a Biology major with a 3.95 GPA. She posted a season record of 8-5 in singles play with a record of 8-6 in doubles play.
