Women's Tennis Picks up Third Straight Conference Win

(OWENSBORO, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's tennis team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College 7-0 on Saturday morning (April 5th). The Saints overall record improves to 8-5 and 3-2 in conference.

• Junior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH./ Walnut Hills) and senior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, OH/ Tippecanoe) defeated Ella Brown and Angela Ho 6-1.  

• Freshman Presley Grant(Covington,KY/ Scott) and Senior Noelia Martinez Garcia ( Santander, Spain/ IES Las Llamas Santander) defeated Baylie Mccreary and Ashyln Payton 6-1.  

• Freshman Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, KY/ Lexington Catholic) and Freshman Nicki Bauer (Tipp City, OH) won by walkover.  

• Alexis Covington defeated Ella Brown 6-0 and 6-0.  

• Dakota Schroder won against Angela Ho 6-0 and 6-0.   

• Noelia Martinez Garcia beat Ashyln Payton 6-1 and 6-0.  

• Presley Grant defeated Baylie Mccreary 6-1 and 6-4.  

• Hallie Lathram won by walkover.  

• Nicki Bauer won by walkover.   

The Saints will return Saturday April 12th at 9:00am in Crestview Hills, Kentucky to face Walsh University
