Biography
Junior Highlights (2025): Started all 19 games of the season for the Saints. Recorded 45 goals and 3 assists for 48 points on the year. Tallied 16 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers and 10 draw controls on the season. Set the program career goals and points records.
Sophomore Highlights (2024): Started in all 18 games for the Saints. Recorded 40 goals on the season to go with 8 assists, 16 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers. Scored a season high 6 goals twice, in the victories over Lake Erie and Malone. Earned Second Team Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors. Broke the program career records for Points (111), Shots (222) and Shots on Goal (162).
First Year Highlights (2023): Started in all 16 games for the Saints. Led the Saints in goals with 40, and points with 63. Also recorded 23 assists, 25 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and 17 draw controls. Her 63 points marked the most in a single season in program history and her 40 goals were the most in a single season in program history. The 23 assists were the second most in a single season, and she had the most shots on goal in a season in school history with 82. She moved into 2nd in career assists, 6th in career goals, 4th in career points, and 7th in career shots on goal.
High School Highlights: Pierani attended Mercy McAuley where she played for head coach Dave Joerger. During her time with the Wolves she earned GGCL Second Team honors as a junior and GGCL First Team honors and Team Captain as a senior. She set the program record for most goals scored in a single season with 69.
Personal: Megan Pierani is the daughter of Michele and Randy Pierani. She has two siblings, Rachel (29) and Brett (32). Her mother Michele, and both siblings attended Thomas More.
