Saints Come Up Short Against Findlay on Senior Day

(Crestview Hills, KY) - The Thomas More women's lacrosse team fell to the Findlay Oilers by a final score of 17 to 9 on Saturday (April, 12th). Thomas More falls to an overall record of 2-13 on the season and 2-4 in G-MAC play.


How they scored
  • First year Lauren Ferrier (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) put the Saints in front in the first minute with an unassisted goal to make it 1 to 0.
  • Findlay answered with four goals to take the 4 to 1 lead.
  • Sophomores Alexis Denman (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) and Alex Nunn (Loveland, OH / Loveland) scored back to back to make it a one goal game.
  • Findlay scored four goals to close the half with an 8 to 3 lead.
  • Sophomore Anna Wells (West Chester, OH / Lakota West) scored the first goal of the second half off an assist from Alex Nunn.
