Women's Tennis Picks up Win in Hilton Head

Box Score (HILTON HEAD, SC)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team defeated Millersville on Wednesday morning (March 12), 5-2. The Saints overall record improves to 4-3.

• Senior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, OH/ Tippecanoe) and junior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH./ Walnut Hills) defeated Yasmin Scott and Lauren Hayes 7-5.
• Freshman Cassia Adamowsky (Berlin, Germany/ Werner Von Siemens) and freshman Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, KY/ Lexington Catholic) fell 6-4 to Chloe Abramowitz and Lucia Consigliere.
• Senior Noelia Martinez Garcia ( Santander, Spain/ IES Las Llamas Santander) and freshman Nicole Bauer (Tipp City, OH) won 7-5 over Sophie Lanius and Victoria Schrader.

• Alexis Covington won 6-4 and 6-4 over Hui Jen Soo.
• Dakota Schroeder defeated Chloe Abramowitz 7-6 and 6-2.
• Cassia Adamowsky fell 6-3, 3-6, and 0-1 to Lauren Hayes.
• Noelia Martinez Garcia won 6-3 and 6-2 to Lucia Consigliere.
• Hallie Lathram fell to Sophie Lanius 3-5, 4-1, and 0-1.
• Nicole Bauer won 4-1 and 4-2 to Yasmin Scottt.

The Saints return on Thursday (March 13) against WV State at 9:00 A.M. in Hilton Head, SC.
