Women's Tennis Comes up Short to UIndy

(INDIANPOLIS, Ind.)-Thomas More University women's tennis team lost to the University of Indiana 3-4 on Friday evening (Feb.7th). The Saints record is now 1-2.

• Junior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH./ Walnut Hills) and senior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, OH/ Tippecanoe) fell to Jimena De Pablos Hernando and Silvia Zappoli 6-2.

• Freshman Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, KY/ Lexington Catholic) and Freshman Cassia Adamowsky (Berlin, Germany/ Werner Von Siemens) lost 7-6 against Andrea Garcia and Linya Chen.

• Freshman Nicki Bauer (Tipp City, OH) and Senior Noelia Martinez Garcia ( Santander, Spain/ IES Las Llamas Santander) won by walkover.

• Alexis Covington fell to Jimena De Pablos Hernando 6-0 and 6-2.

• Dakota Schroder defeated Silvia Zappoli 2-6, 6-4 and 6-3.

• Cassia Adamowsky lost 6-0 and 6-0 against Linya Chen.

• Noelia Martinez Garcia fell to Andrea Garcia 6-1 and 6-4.

• Nicki Bauer won by walkover.

• Haillie Lathram won by walkover.

The Saints will return Saturday, Feb. 15th at 4:00 pm in Crestview Hills, Kentucky to face Wittenberg University.
