Women's Tennis Defeats Ursuline for First Conference Win

Box Score (PEPPER PIKE, OH)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team defeated Ursuline on Sunday afternoon (April 7), 7-0. The Saints overall record improves to 2-9 and 1-5 in conference.

• Junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) and  junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) defeated Giavanna Victor and Abigail Cepek 6-0.
• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and senior Raman Dail (North Hollywood, CA / Walton Verona) won 6-0 over Paris Hirsch and Emily Bialkowski.
• Senior Aman Dail (North Hollywood, CA / Walton-Verona) and senior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) won by walk over.

• Alexis Covington won 6-0 and 6-0 over Giavanna Victor.
• Dakota Schroeder defeated Abigail Cepek 6-0 and 6-0.
• Casie Saner won 6-0 and 6-1 over Ajia Schreffler.
• Noelia Garcia Martinez defeated Paris Hirsch 6-1 and 6-0 over.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) won 6-0 and 6-1 over Emily Bialkowski.
• Aman Dail won by walk over.

The Saints return next Saturday (April 13) for senior night against Kentucky Wesleyan at 4:00 pm ET at Five Seasons.
