Women's Tennis Closes Out Season Against Ashland

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to Ashland on Saturday afternoon (April 20 )4-1  in the Saints season finale. The Saints finish with a 3-11 overall record and 2-7 in conference.

• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) won 6-4 over Anna Corbel and Kortney Reed.
• Junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) and senior Aman Dail (North Hollywood, CA / Walton-Verona were defeated by Constanza Aranciba and Ana Penteado 6-1.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) and first year Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) fell 6-2 to Luciana Ottoni and Claudia Adcock.

• Alexis Covington fell to 7-5 and 6-3 to Claudia Adcock.
• Dakota Schroeder won 7-5 and 6-3 over Ana Penteado.
• Noeila Martinez Garcia was defeated by Kortney Reed 6-1 and 6-0.
• Sydney Johnson fell 6-0 and 6-1 to Constanza Arancibia.

The Saints return next season in year two of competing in DII.
