Findlay Sweeps Women's Tennis

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to Findlay on Saturday afternoon (March 30), 7-0. The Saints overall record falls to 1-8 and 0-4 in conference.

• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) fell 6-2 to Elina Ivanova and Anamarija Kovacevic.
• Senior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) and junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) came up short to Zuzanna Krygier and Emily Hadler 6-2.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) and first year Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) fell 6-0 to Maria Valentina Salek Rivero and Madison Arquette.

• Alexis Covington fell 6-2 and 6-4 to Anamarija Kovacevic.
• Dakota Schroeder was defeated by Eliina Ivanova 6-0 and 6-1.
• Cassie Saner fell to Maria Valentina Salek Rivero 6-0 and 6-1.
• Noeila Martinez Garcis was defeated by Lidia Laskova 6-2 and 6-2.
• Sydney Johnson fell 6-0 and 6-0 to Emily Hadler.
• Hallie Kriege was defeated 6-0 and 6-0 to Ivanova Lucero.

The Saints return next Saturday (April 6) against Walsh in North Canton, Ohio at 3:00 pm.
