Chargers Defeat Women's Tennis on the Road

Box Score (HILLSDALE, MI)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to Hillsdale on Sunday afternoon (March 24), 6-1. The Saints overall record falls to 1-6 and 0-2 in conference.

• Junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) and senior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) fell to Megan Hackman and Melanie Zampardo 6-2.
• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) were defeated by Courtney Rittel 6-1.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) and first year Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) fell 6-0 to Elizabeth Mcgivern and Helana Formentin.

• Alexis Covington was defeated by Ane Dannhauser 6-4 and 6-3.
• Dakota Schroeder fell 6-0 and 6-2 to Melanie Zampardo.
• Casie Saner came up short to Elizabeth Mcgivern 6-4 anf 6-0.
• Noelia Martinez Garcia won 6-2 and 6-2 to Helana Formentin.
• Sydney Johnson fell 6-1 and 6-0 to Courtney Rittel.
• Hallie Kriege was defeated by Isabella Spinazze 6-1 and 6-0.

The Saints return on Friday (March 29) at 6:00 pm ET against Tiffin in Crestview Hills, KY at Five Seasons.
