Women's Tennis Falls to Northwood in Conference Opener

Box Score (MIDLAND, MI)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to Northwood on Saturday afternoon  (March 23), 7-0. The Saints overall record falls to 1-5.

• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) fell to Rafaela Platsiota and Savannah Matuszewski 6-0.
• Junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) and senior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) came up short to Regan Fales and Yuliia Khmara 6-4.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) and first year Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) were defeated 6-0 to Danijela Danilovic and Brigitte Gomez.

• Dakota Schroeder fell 6-1 and 6-0 to Rafaela Platsiota.
• Alexis Covginton was defeated by Danijela Danilovic 6-0 and 6-0.
• Savannah Matuszewski beat Noelia Martinez Gar ia 6-1 and 6-2.
• Hallie Kriefe fell 6-0 and 6-0 to Yuliia Khmara.
• Sydney Johnson was defeated by Regan Fales by 6-0 and RET.

The Saints return to action tomorrow (March 24) against Hillsdale at 3:00 pm ET in Hillsdale, Mich.
