Women's Tennis Defeats Shawnee State

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team defeated Shawnee State on Saturday evening (Feb 17), 6-1.

• Sophomore Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and junior Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) defeated Lacey Urban and Lexy Urban 6-1.
• Senior Raman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton Verona) and senior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) won 6-3 over McKenzie Harman.
• Senior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) and junior Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) defeated Brooklyn Foose and Anna Vogt 6-3.

• Alexis Covington won 6-3 and 6-1 over Anna Vogt.
• Dakota Schroeder defeated Lacey Urban 6-2 and 6-1.
• Noeila Martinez Garcia won 6-0 and 6-0 over Antonia Ilea.
• Cassie Saner defeated Lacey Urban 6-1 and 6-1.
• Senior Aman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton-Verona) and McKenzie Harman went 5-2 unfinished.
• First year Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) fell to Brooklyn Foose 5-7 and 1-6.
