(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) – The Mid-South Conference announced their 2023 Women's Tennis Academic All Mid-South Conference honorees Tuesday afternoon and Thomas More had a conference-high 12 athletes recognized. This is the Saints most honorees since they joined the MSC beginning in the 2019-20 academic year.
The nomination requirements are that you must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and be in your third term or fourth quarter.
Being honored for the third time in their careers were seniors
Brooke Howe (Union, Ky./Ryle),
Emili Riffe (Union, Ky./Ryle), and
Kimberly Sabga (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago/International School of Port of Spain.). Sabga was also named to the Champions of Character Team for the second consecutive season.
Honored for the second time were juniors
Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley),
Aman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton-Verona),
Raman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton-Verona),
Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry District), and
Sofie McVay (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights).
Being recognized for the first time in their careers are sophomores
Koryn Manning (New Richmond, Ky./New Richmond),
Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas),
Cristy Milliken (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills), and
Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe).
