(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.)-No. 3 seed Thomas More University men's basketball team feel to No. 2 seed Freed Hardeman on Sunday evening (February 26) 72-61 in the semifinals of the Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals. The Saints overall record falls to 22.8.
- Sophomore Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) drained a 3-point basket to start things off for the Saints with 18:23 on clock in the first half (3-2).
- With 15:25 to play in the first half, sophomore Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) hit a 3-point shot to put the Saints up by four (10-6).
- Sophomore Wyatt Vieth (Burlington, Ky./St. Henry) made a 3-point basket to help the Saints regain the lead with 6:21 to go in the first half (20-17).
- Kyle Ross would make a 3-pointer with 15 seconds to play for the Saints final basket of the first half (22-33).
- The Saints would trail 27-34 going into the locker room at the half.
- Kyle Ross led the Saints in the first half with eight points and four rebounds and tallied one assist.
- Reid Jolly also recorded four rebounds to lead the team and had seven points.
- Noah Pack had four rebounds and four points.
- Jacob Jones had a team high of three assists in the first half and had five points and one rebound.
