Men's Basketball Falls in Conference Home Opener

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's basketball team fell to Cedarville on Saturday (Dec 2), 89-74. The Saints overall record falls to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in conference. 

First Half
  • Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) drained a 3-point basket to start things off for the Saints, to give them a 3-2 lead with 18:37 on the clock.
  • With 13:04 to play in the half, first year Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) hit a 3-point shot to extend the Saints 8-0 run over the Yellow Jackets (18-11).
  • Junior Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) made a shot from behind the arch to make it a 25-19 game with 9:01 in the half.
  • First year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) knocked in 3-point shot for the Saints final basket of the half with 30 seconds on the clock (39-42).
  • The Saints would trail 39-45 at the half.
  • Casey George led the team with nine points in the first half and had two assists.
  • Junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) led the Saints with five rebounds and three assists and had seven points.
