Jolly Records Season High Double Double to Help Lead Saints to First G-MAC Win

(MIDLAND, Mich)-Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated Northwood on Wednesday night (Nov 29), 78-62 to secure the Saints first G-MAC win. The Saints overall record improves to 5-2 and 1-0 in conference.

• Junior Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) made a hook shot to get things started for the Saints with 18:46 to tie things up 2-2.
• With 13:26 to play in the first half, junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) hit a floating jump shot to make it a 11-7 game.
• Junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) drained a 3-point shot to extend the Saints lead to 24-16 with 5:56 left in the half.
• Graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) made a 3-point jump shot for the Saints final basket in the first half with 1:55 on the clock (36-24).
• The Saints would lead 36-26 at the half.
• Reid Jolly led the team with 12 points and six rebounds in the first half.
• Junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) led the Saints with three assists.
• The Saints were 46.4% (13-28) from the field, 35.3% (6-17) from the 3-point line, and 80% (4-5) from the free throw line in the first half.

• Jacob Jones hit a jumper to kick things off for the Saints in the second half with 19:06 to play (39-26).
