Women's Tennis Comes to an End With Loss to Campbellsville in MSC Quarterfinals

Bowling Green, Ky. - The women's tennis program at Thomas More fell to the 18th ranked Tigers of Campbellsville University by a 4-0 margin in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Tournament on Friday, April 22. With the loss the Saints finish the season with a 10-11 record.

• First year Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio / Tippecaneo) and sophomore Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky. / Simon Kenton) fell 6-4 to Mendoza and Espinoza.
• First-year Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain / IES Las Llamas) and first year Mia Ziebro (Cincinnati, Ohio/Homeschooled) beat Hibbs and Sutton by a score of 6-2.
• Sophomore Raman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton-Verona) and sophomore Aman Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Walton Verona) lost to Hill and Perez by a score of 6-1.

• Dakota Schroeder fell 6-2 and 6-2 to Espinoza.
• Cassie Saner lost to Mendoza by scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
• Noelia Martinez Garcia was behind 6-2, 2-1 to Mitchell.
• Kimberly Sabga dropped her match to Perez by scores of 6-0 and 6-0.
• Raman Dail was down 6-2, 2-0 to Hill .
• Aman Dail was down and 6-2, 2-0 to Sutton.

The Saints conclude the 2022 campaign and will return in the Fall of 2022.
