Box Score (Owensboro. Ky.) - The baseball program defeated Brescia in convincing fashion on Tuesday, March 30, as they won 24-9. With the win TMU improves to 14-16 on the season.
- Brescia scored two in the second, three in the third, one in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two in the sixth.
- Thomas More scored four in the third, two in the fifth, four in the sixth, eight in the seventh, and six in the ninth.
- Sophmore second baseman Bailey Martin (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) went four-for-six from the plate. He hit two doubles, drove in three runs, crossed the plate three times, stole a base, and drew a walk.
- Sophomore shortstop Brett Benzinger (Taylor Mill, Ky./New Richmond) hit .750 for the game with two runs batted in, and scoring two runs.
- Junior first baseman Brennan Baker (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) was one-for-six in the batters box with three run home run, he tallied five total rbi's on the day, and drew a walk.
- Junior left fielder Brady Reynolds (White Oak, Ohio/Lasalle) was two-for-three from the dish, driving in a run, scoring two times, and drawing three walks in the game.
- Sophomore Casey Nowak (Burlington, Ky./Covington Catholic) plated one run, crossed the plate three times, and was three-for-seven on the day.
- First-year Andrew Stewart (Florence, Ky./St. Henry) came in the game to pinch hit and drove in two runs in his only plate appearance on the evening.
- First-year Hunter Nantz (London, Ky./North Laurel) threw four and two-thirds of an inning allowing four runs on five hits, only one of the four runs were earned, he also earned the win.
- Sophomore Austin Hoeh (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) pitched two complete innings allowing zero runs on three hits and would strike out two.
- The 24 runs scored are the most since April 2, 2010 when they won 32-0 over Geneva.
