- Junior first baseman Brennen Baker (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) doubled down the right field line to make the score 2-0, Casey Nowak (Burlington, Ky./Covington Catholic) scored on a balk, Baker stole home to make the score 4-0. Tyler Flick (Okeana, Ohio/Ross) scored on a Brett Benzinger (Taylor Mill, Ky./New Richmond) single to make the final score 6-5 in favor of Milligan.
Rio Grande
- Rio scored one in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, put four across in the 6th.
- Sophomore Bailey Martin (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) would score the lone run after being drove in by Benzinger. Thomas More lost 8-1.
