(McKenzie, Tennessee)- #4 Thomas More breaks triple digits for the first time this season, with a 100-42 win over Bethel University. The Saints traveled to Mckenzie, Tennessee for the second of their two Mid-South match ups this week. This improves their overall record to 15-0 and 10-0 in the conference.
- Sophomore Zoie Barth (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands) started things off for the Saints scoring from the paint, making the score 2-0 with 8:47 on the clock.
- Thomas More went on a 17-0 run over Bethel in the second quarter. They outscored Bethel 52-12 in the first half.
- Barth led the team with 14 points, three assists, and one rebound.
- Sophomore Courtney Hurst (Burlington, Ky./Conner) followed with 12 points and led the team with three assists and had three rebounds.
- Senior Briana McNutt (Maysville, Ky./Mason County) scored nine points and led the team in rebounds with ten.
- The saints had nine points form the bench, 28 points in the paint, ten points off second chance shots, 17 points off of turnovers, and 22 rebounds.
- Thomas More was 54.84% (12/31) from the field and 50% (7/14) from the three-point line. Bethel was 20% (5-25) from the field and 18.18% (2-11) from the three-point line.
- Hurst started things off for the Saints in the second half scoring off a second chance shot from the paint with 9:09 on the clock, extending their lead to 54-12.
- Hurst led the team with ten points in the second half.
