CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Thomas More women's volleyball team finished their first weekend at home this season with two more three-set sweeps on Saturday. The Saints defeated Lake Superior State on Saturday morning before defeating Kentucky State to close out the Thomas More Tournament. The Saints move to 4-3 on the season. Lake Superior State falls to 3-5 and Kentucky State to 1-7.
 

Game 1 – Thomas More vs Lake Superior State
Thomas More defeated Lake Superior State by a score of 3-0.

• Thomas More won the first set by a score of 25-18.
• The Saints won the second set by a score of 25-21.
• Thomas More completed the sweep with a 25-15 win in set three.

 
Game 2 – Thomas More vs Kentucky State
Thomas More defeated Kentucky State by a score of 3-0.

• Thomas More won the first set 25-20.
• The Saints won the second set by a score of 25-11.
• Thomas More completed the sweep with a 25-10 win in the final set.

 

Game 1

• Reagan Martin had 17 kills to lead the Saints offense.
• Paige Stockhoff and Megan Rogers were the top setters as Stockhoff recorded 14 and Rogers had 13.
• Taylor Stivers had 4 service aces and Riley Osbourne had 3.
• Taylor Stivers had 13 digs and Reagan Martin completed a double-double with 12.
• Thomas More had 14 block assists with Sadie Stuart leading the front line defense.

 
Game 2

• Eva Steinmetz had 10 of the Saints' 40 kills. 9 different Thomas More players recorded a kill.
• Paige Stockhoff had 14 assists and Megan Rogers added 11. Stockhoff led the team with 12 digs.
• The Saints recorded 9 service aces with Taylor Stivers, Sadie Stuart, and Bryleigh Boyd each had two.

 

The Saints will have their final non-conference match before beginning conference play on Wednesday night. They will welcome Shawnee State into the Connor Convocation Center for a 7 PM first serve.
