CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Thomas More University women's volleyball team completed the two game sweep of the first day of the TMU Tournament as their home opener. The Saints first swept the Central State University Marauders before sweeping Salem University in the last game of the day. Thomas More moves to 2-3 on the season. Central State fell to 0-2 after their game and Salem moves to 4-2.
 

Game 1 – Thomas More vs Central State
Thomas More defeated Central State by a score of 3-0.

• Thomas More won the first set by a score of 25-20.
• The Saints won the second set by a score of 25-22.
• Thomas More finished the match with a 25-13 set three win.

 
Game 2 – Thomas More vs Salem
Thomas More defeated Salem by a score of 3-0.

• Thomas More won a close first set by 25-23.
• The Saints had their biggest win of the match with a score of 25-17 in set two.
• Thomas More sealed the victory with a 25-21 win in set three.

 

Game 1

• Reagan Martin had 17 kills to lead the Thomas More offense and had 2 aces. She also had a team-high 8 digs.
• Paige Stockhoff had 20 assists and three service aces.
• Riley Osbourne had two aces.
• Thomas More combined for 1 solo block (Sadie Stuart) and 6 block assists.

 
Game 2

• Ceci Kamer and Reagan Martin each had 9 kills and Sadie Stuart was just behind them with 8.
• Thomas More had a total of nine service aces with Reagan Martin recording 3 and Taylor Stivers, Riley Osbourne, and Sadie Stuart each adding 2 aces.
• Miley Murphy had 1 solo block and 2 block assists to lead the Saints defense on the front line.
• Taylor Stivers had 23 digs and Reagan Martin had 12.
• Paige Stockhoff had 20 assists while Megan Rogers had 14.

 

The Saints will play in the second day of the TMU Tournament as they face Lake Superior State at 11:30 AM before closing the tournament against Kentucky State at 4:30 PM.
