Volleyball Swept in UIndy Invitational Saturday Doubleheader

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Thomas More University volleyball team completed their opening weekend with two games at the UIndy Invitational on Saturday. The Saints fell to West Liberty University in their first game of the day after a competitive five-set match. In the evening match, UIndy won the match in three sets. The Saints fall to 0-3 on the season. West Liberty moves to 1-2 and UIndy moves to 4-0.


Game 1 - Thomas More vs West Liberty
West Liberty defeated Thomas More by a score of 3-2.

• Thomas More won the first set 25-22.
• Thomas More won the second set 25-20.
• West Liberty won the third set 25-22.
• West Liberty won the fourth set 26-24.
• West Liberty won the fifth set 19-17.

Game 2 - Thomas More at University of Indianapolis
UIndy defeated Thomas More by a score of 3-0.

• UIndy won the first set 25-8.
• UIndy won the second set 25-14.
• UIndy won the third set 25-14.

Game 1

• Reagan Martin led the Saints with a double-double of 14 kills and 17 digs. She also added 2 assists and a solo block.
• Ceci Kamer added 10 kills to the offensive effort.
• Taylor Stivers had 23 digs and 3 service aces. Jenna Hawkins and Riley Osbourne each had 2 aces while Sadie Stuart had one of her own. Stuart also recorded 5 block assists.
• Paige Stockhoff had 22 assists.

Game 2

• Eva Steinmetz had 6 kills.
• Sadie Stuart had three aces.
• Paige Stockhoff recorded 11 assists.
