INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced on Monday the schedule for the 18th annual Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament, the nation's largest collegiate volleyball event at one venue. The event will be held in Hammond, Ind., at the Hammond SportsPlex on October 16 and 17.
The Saints will be one of 12 G-MAC teams represented and will open their play at 9:00 A.M CST on Friday against the University of Illinois Springfield. The teams have only met once before in September of 2024 when UIS won in five sets.
Thomas More's second opponent of the weekend will be Upper Iowa University on Friday at 2:00 P.M. CST. It will be the first match up in program history against the Peacocks.
On Saturday morning, the Saints will take on William Jewell College at 9:00 A.M. CST. It will be the second meeting between Thomas More and the Cardinals after William Jewell came away with the 3-1 win on October 14, 2023.
