INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Thomas More University women's volleyball team opened the season with a game against Saginaw Valley State University on the first day of the UIndy Invitational hosted by the University of Indianapolis. The Saints fell in three straight sets moving to 0-1 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 2-0 on the early season.
 

Saginaw Valley States defeats Thomas More, 3-0.

• Saginaw Valley State won the first set 25-15.
• Saginaw Valley State won the second set 25-10.
• Saginaw Valley State won the third set 25-10.

 

• Sadie Stuart led the team with 5 kills while Reagan Martin had 4. Stuart also had 5 block assists.
• Paige Stockhoff had 7 assists.
• Taylor Stivers had a team high 13 digs.

 

The Saints will have two games tomorrow in Indianapolis. They will take on West Liberty at 11:30 AM before facing the host team at 7:00 PM.
