Men’s Lacrosse falls on the road to Davenport

(CALEDONIA, Mich.) – The Thomas More University men's lacrosse team fell to Davenport on Saturday afternoon (March 28) by a score of 6-20. The Saints fall to 4-6 overall and 2-4 within the conference.
 
How they scored
  • The Saints scored their first goal with under thirty seconds left in the first quarter as freshman Eric Wong (Union, KY / Cooper) connected with senior James Kendrick (Springboro, OH / Springboro).
  • The three Thomas More goals scored in the second quarter came off the sticks of Eric Wong, junior Noah Koenig (Erlanger, KY / Dixie Heights), and redshirt-sophomore Bryce Collins (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy / Mercyhurst). Senior Spencer Lethbridge (Cleveland, OH / Olmsted Falls) had the assist on all three goals.
  • Spencer Lethbridge continued his momentum and scored the first goal of the second half at the 13:22 mark.
  • Bryce Collins scored his second goal at the 9:16 mark of the fourth quarter.

  • Spencer Lethbridge had one goal on his five shots. He added three assists.
  • Bryce Collins had a team-high nine shots and scored two goals.
  • Eric Wong scored on his only shot, added an assists, and picked up two ground balls.
  • Freshman Gus Kleeman (Mason, OH / Mason) had a third of the team's nine caused turnovers and three ground balls to help the Saints defense.
  • Junior Stephen Schodowski (Chula Vista, CA / St. Augustine) won 8 faceoffs and had six ground balls.
  • Freshman Jack Schiff (Cincinnati, OH / Buxton / Cincinnati State CC / Hudson Valley CC) had 12 saves in the crease.
