Saints fall to Lincoln Memorial in final non-conference game of year

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More University men's lacrosse team fell to Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday (April 1) evening by a score of 5-22 in their final non-conference match up of the season. The Saints fall to 4-7 overall on the season.
 
How they scored

• The Saints opened the game with a goal 12 seconds after the clock started as freshman Gus Kleeman (Mason, OH / Mason) scored his fourth goal of the season.
• The Railsplitters scored about two minutes later to tie the game by redshirt sophomore Bryce Collins (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy / Mercyhurst) gave the Saints back the lead.
• Lincoln Memorial responded with fifteen goals.
• Freshman Eric Wong (Union, KY / Cooper) capped off the first half with a goal with 32 seconds remaining.
• Senior Graham Houser (Hilliard, OH / St. Charles) scored two goals in the fourth quarter. The one with 11:37 remaining had an assist from Jackson Goetz while the one with 2:51 left in the game had an assist from James Kendrick.

• Graham Houser scored two goals on his five shots.
• Bryce Collins had 8 shots and scored on goal.
• Eric Wong scored 1 goal on his 4 shots.
• Gus Kleeman scored a goal on three shots. He also had five ground balls.
• Junior Stephen Schodowski (Chula Vista, CA / St. Augustine) won 13 of his 21 face offs and had seven ground balls on the day.
