Men's Bowling finishes in 7th place at MSC Thomas N Burris

(SMYRNA, TN) – Thomas More University's men's bowling finished in 7th place at the Thomas N Burris Memorial Tournament on Sunday (Feb. 1).
 
 

• Freshman Aiden Lewis (Hopkinsville, KY / Christian County / Hopkinsville CC) led the team by bowling an average of 212.5 and a total of 850 over all four games. He finished 20th overall individually
• Close behind was senior Landen Hodge (Sulphur Rock, AR / Batesville / Southern Nazarene / Kansas Wesleyan) who totaled 840 and averaged 210 over the four games and junior Jared Pogue (Hopkinsville, KY / Hopkinsville / Southern Nazarene) who finished with 835 over the four games and a 208.8 average.
• Sophomore Jake Fitzgerald (Southern Nazarene) averaged 222.7 in three games and knocked down a total of 668 pins.
• Junior C.J. Herbers (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) and junior Nathan Shannon (Southern Nazarene) each bowled two games. Shannon averaged 172 with a total of 344 while Herbers averaged 164.5 with a total of 329.
• Freshman Quinton Keith (Fort Mitchell, KY / Beechwood) bowled one game in which he scored 139.
• The Saints combined for a score of 1646 across the eight baker games.

 
 
The Saints return Feb 7 at OBC 4 in Columbus, Ohio.
