(NEWPORT, KY) - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the Women's Bowling end of season awards at the 2025-2026 Championships during the awards ceremony on Friday (March 20) following qualifying. The Saints had four athletes earn awards.
Sophomore
Jake Fitzgerald (Southern Nazarene) was named Co-Bowler of the Year and to the All-Conference team. He averaged 197.6 over his fifty games this season after a total pin fall of 9880.
Junior
Jared Pogue (Hopkinsville, KY / Hopkinsville / Southern Nazarene) was named to the All-Conference Team for the second year in a row. This season he averaged 197.75 after knocking down 7910 pins over 40 games.
Aiden Lewis (Hopkinsville, KY / Christian County / Hopkinsville CC) earned Co-Freshman of the Year after competing in 20 games and recording a total of 3673 pins to finish his first year with an average of 183.65.
All three of these bowlers along with the other members of the Thomas More men's bowling team will continue competition at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Bowling Championships this weekend as Thomas More hosts at Super Bowl Bellewood in Newport, Kentucky.
