Men's Bowling competes at the Lynne Jordan Memorial Tournament

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – Thomas More University's men's bowling team placed 13th at the Lynne Jordan Memorial Tournament on Saturday (Jan. 31).

 

• Junior Jared Pogue (Hopkinsville, KY / Hopkinsville / Southern Nazarene) bowled all four games with an average of 206.5 and a total of 826 pins knocked down.
• Senior Landen Hodge (Sulphur Rock, AR / Batesville / Southern Nazarene / Kansas Wesleyan) totaled 804 pins over four games with an average of 201.
• Sophomore Jake Fitzgerald (Southern Nazarene) averaged 176.7 in three games and knocked down a total of 530 pins.
• Junior Nathan Shannon (Southern Nazarene) bowled the first three games, averaging 166 with a total of 498.
• Sophomore Alexei Hunt (Louisville, KY / DuPont Manual) and freshman Aiden Lewis (Hopkinsville, KY / Christian County / Hopkinsville CC) each bowled two games, totaling 376 and 336 respectively.
• Freshman Quinton Keith (Fort Mitchell, KY / Beechwood) and junior C.J. Herbers (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) each bowled in a game with score of 160 and 153 respectively.
• Over the eight baker games, the Saints totaled 1576 pins and averaged 197.

 

The Saints return to action tomorrow (Feb 1) at the MSC Thomas N Burris Memorial Tournament in Smyrna, TN.
