(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the 2025 football preseason coaches poll this afternoon (August, 19th), and the Thomas More Saints are picked to finish 8th with 41 total points.

Chris Norwell is coming off a 2024 season that saw the Saints go 5-6 overall with a 4-5 conference record and a 6th place finish.Â
The 2025 G-MAC coaches poll shows the defending champions, Ashland Eagles in first place with 88 points and 7 first place votes. Tiffin and Findlay follow closely behind with 83 and 75 points. Tiffin picked up two first place votes, and Findlay received one first place vote.
Hillsdale (4th with 64 points), Northwood (5th with 60 points), and Walsh (6th with 48 points) sit in the middle of the poll. Rounding out the preseason poll is Ohio Dominican in 7th with 45 points, Thomas More in 8th with 41 points, Lake Erie in 9th with 24 points, and Kentucky Wesleyan in 10th with 22 points.
Thomas More opens the season on Saturday, August, 30th. When they travel to Carbondale, Illinois to take on Southern Illinois University of the Missouri Valley Conference.
