Men's Volleyball Drops to Rockhurst in Two Game Series

(Kansas City, MO) - The Thomas More University men's volleyball team faced off against the Rockhurst University Hawks on Sunday (March 9).  The Hawks defeated the Saints in a tough three sets as the Saints now fall to 4-7 overall.

 

Results

Rockhurst defeats Thomas More, 0-3.

 

  • Rockhurst won the opening set 25 to 21.

  • Rockhurst won the second set 25 to 16.

  • Rockhurst won the match in the third set 25 to 15.

 

Notables

 

  • Freshman Josh Norman (Highlands Ranch, CO/Legend) led the Saints in kills with 9.  He also led the team in blocks with 1.

  • Sophomore Jacob Schurfranz (Louisville, KY/Trinity) led the team in service aces with 1.

  • Sophomore Tanner Stinnett (Belleville, IL/Belleville East) led the match in assists with 17.

  • Freshman Tyler Vasquez (Villa Park, IL/Bolingbrook) led the Saints in digs with 10.
