- Senior Derek Marinucci (Canton, MI / Divine Child) brought in a run in the third inning to make it 1 to 0.
- Also in the third, Thomas More scored two more runs off RBI singles from senior Gavin Vogelgesang (Cincinnati, OH / St. Xavier) and sophomore Noah McCarty (Louisville, KY / Christian Academy). (3-0)
- Northwood scored two in the 5th to make it 3 to 2.
- Gavin Vogelgesang hit a sac fly in the 5th to bring home another run. (4-2)
- Northwood scored 3 runs in the 7th to take a 5 to 4 lead.
- Junior Gunner Kalkhoff (Cincinnati, OH / LaSalle) tied the game up in the bottom of the 9th with a sac fly to make it 5-5.
- Northwood scored 4 runs int he 10th.

- Senior George Donohoe (Villa Hills, KY / Immaculate Conception) pitched 3.0 innings, allowing 1 unearned run on 1 hit and striking out 5.
Game 2:
- Senior Jackson Grimmelsman (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) pitched 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and striking out 2.
- Junior Garrett Taulbee (Felicity, OH / Felicity Franklin) pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 1 hit with 1 strike out.
