Junior Highlights (2024): Appeared in 27 games, starting in 22 this season for the Saints. Tallied a .123 Batting Average through 65 At Bats. Recorded 8 Hits, 2 Doubles, 1 Home Run, 10 Runs, 9 RBIs, and 10 Walks. Defensively, he tallied 98 Put Outs and 16 Assists. Recorded a season high 2 Hits (1 Double, 1 Home Run) and 4 RBIs against Ashland on April 14th.

High School Highlights: Marinucci attended Divine Child High School. He earned All-Region in baseball. Marinucci transfer to Thomas from Alderson Broaddus University. 

Personal: Derek Marinucci is the son of Fred Marinucci and Dawn Marinucci. He has a one sister, Brooke.
