Men's Lacrosse Picks Conference Victory on the Road

(MIDLAND, MI) - Thomas More Universitys Men's Lacrosse team traveled to take on Northwood on Saturday (March, 1st) afternoon. The Saints defeated the Timberwolves by a final score of 12 to 11. The Saints move to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in G-MAC play.

  • Northwood scored the first goal of the day to take the early lead.
  • Junior Joe Mariani (Warners, NY / Mater Dei Academy) answers with an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1.
  • Northwood retakes the lead with three consecutive goals to make it 4 to 1.
  • Junior Graham Houser (Hilliard, OH / St. Charles) finds the back of the net off an assist from junior Spencer Lethbridge (Cleveland, OH / Olmsted Falls) for the first goal of the second quarter (2-4).
  • Junior James Kendrick (Springboro, OH / Springboro) answers a Northwood goal with one of his own to keep the score at 5 to 3 Northwood.
  • James Kendrick answers another Northwood goal with his second of the day to send us to halftime with the score 6 to 4 in favor of the Timberwolves.
