(CEDARVILLE, OH) - The Thomas More University Women's Basketball team fell to the Cedarville Yellow Jackets on Thursday (February, 27th) by a final score of 81 to 63. Thomas More falls to an overall record of 10-17 on the season and 7-12 in G-MAC play.
- Junior Sereniti Webb (Covington, KY / Simon Kenton) scores the first bucket of the game for the Saints to tie the game at two.
- With 7:18 to go in the opening quarter, junior Alaina Keeney (Wheelersburg, OH / Wheelersburg) hits a triple to give the Saints a one point lead.
- Sophomore Desiree Tandy (Danville, KY / Danville) makes back to back layups to put the Saints in front 9 to 8.
- Sophomore Laney Baker (West Harrison, OH / East Central) makes a three pointer with 4:04 to go in the first quarter to make it a 12 to 10 lead for the Saints.
- Tandy makes another jumper with 8:59 to go in the half to tie the game up at 16.
- Junior Natalie Noel (Salem, IN / Salem) ends the Cedarville run with a three pointer to cut the Yellow Jacket lead to 3.
- Junior Rylee Turner (Newport, KY / Newport Central Catholic) makes some free throws in the closing minutes of the half, and the Saints trail 40 to 30 at the break.
- Rylee Turner and Desiree Tandy led the Saints in scoring with 6 points each in the half.

- With 3:28 to go in the third, first year Anna Drakeford (Harrodsburg, KY / Mercer County) scored on a jumper to make it a 51 to 41 ball game.
- Anna Drakeford scores six straight points for the Saints in the final 90 seconds of the quarter, to send us to the fourth with the score 56 to 49.
- Alaina Keeney scored the first points of the final quarter for the Saints to make it an 8 point game.
- With 5:08 to go, sophomore Anna Swisshelm (Felicity, OH / West Clermont) ends a Cedarville run with a layup off an assist from Drakeford.
- First year Amara Jackson (Huntington, WV / Huntington) scored her first points of the contest on a layup to make it a 72 to 55 game.
- Anna Swisshelm records four straight Saint points with 2:53 to go in the contest.
- Senior Paige Ledford (Osgood, IN / Jac-Cen-Del) makes a free throw, and Natalie Noel hits a triple to bring us to the final score of 81 to 63.
- Thomas More shot 23-46 (50%) from the field, 4-12 (33%) from three, and 13-22 (59.1%) from the free throw line for the game.
- Sereniti Webb led the team in scoring with 12 points in the game to go with a team high 6 rebounds.
- Anna Drakeford tallied 8 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds in the game.
- Alaina Keeney added 7 points and 5 rebounds for the Saints.
