Men's Basketball Cruises Past Miami Hamilton

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team defeats Miami Hamilton 79-50. The Saints overall record improves to 6-4 and 1-3 in conference.

• Junior Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) kicked off the half with a dunk to put the Saints on the board 2-0 with 18:45 on the clock.
• Redshirt sophomore Kai Simpson (Lexington, Ky./Frederick Douglass) hit a jump shot with 14:47 to play in the half to extend the Saints lead to 14-5.
• Senior Ryan Paris (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) drained a 3-point basket to make it a 29-12 game with 9:21 to play in the half.
• With 4:42 to play in the half, Kai Simpson knocked in two free throws to put the Saints up 37-21 game.
• Redshirt first year Daniel Allen (Hodgenville, Ky./Larue County) made the final basket for the Saints with 2:24 to go in the half (41-22).
• The Saints led 41-24 at the half going into the locker room.
• Kai Simpson led with 11 points and had four rebounds and two assists in the first half.
• Daniel Allen led the Saints with four rebounds and had seven points.
• Mitchell Rylee tallied four assists to lead the team and had four points and two rebounds.
• The Saints were 53.6% (15-28) from the field, 33.3% (5-15) from the 3-point line, and 85.7% (6-7) from the free throw line in the first half.

• With 12:02 to play, redshirt sophomore Zion Crowe (Springfield, Ohio/Shawnee) made a 3-point shot to extend the Saints lead to 30 (63-33).
• Daniel Allen banged in a 3-point basket to put the Saints up 71-45 with 5:00 to play.
• Zion Crowe hit a jumper for the final basket of the game to secure the 79-50 win over the Harriers.
• Kai Simpson led the Saints in the second half with seven points and three assists and had two rebounds.
• Zion Crowe also recorded seven points to lead the Saints and had two rebounds and one assist.
• The Saints were 50% (14-28) from the field, 40% (6-15) from the 3-point line, and 80% (4-5) from the free throw lie.
