Saints Take Down Lake Erie in Home Finale

(Crestview Hills, KY) - The Thomas More University women's volleyball team faced off against the Lake Erie College Storm on Thursday (November 13).  The Saints defeated the Storm in four sets as Thomas More now moves to 7-7 in conference play and 11-13 overall.

Thomas More defeats Lake Erie, 3-1.

• Thomas More won the opening set 25 to 11.

• Thomas More won the second set 25 to 22.

• Lake Erie won the third set 26 to 24.

• Thomas More won the fourth set and the match 25 to 21.

• Senior Ebony Gomez (Merida, Venezuela/Colegio Salesiano San Luis) led the Saints in kills with 19.  

• Junior Isabella Schultz (Holt, MI/Lansing Catholic) led the team in service aces with 3.

• Senior Ella Bella (Terre Haute, IN/Terre Haute North) led the team in blocks with 7.

• Sophomore Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the match in assists with 39.

• Sophomore Taylor Stivers (Louisville, KY/Atherton) led the match in digs with 19.

• The Thomas More women's volleyball team returns to action on Friday (November 13) against Ashland University in Ashland, OH.  The match is set for 6:00 PM.
