Women's Volleyball Falls on the Road to Ohio Dominican

(Columbus, OH) - The Thomas More University women's volleyball team faced off against the Ohio Dominican University Panthers on Tuesday (October 7).  The Panthers defeated the Saints in three straight sets as they now move to 3-2 in conference and 6-5 overall.

Ohio Dominican defeats Thomas More, 3-0.

• Ohio Dominican won the opening set 25 to 16.

• Ohio Dominican won the second set 25 to 20.

• Ohio Dominican won the third set and the match 25 to 17.

• Senior Ebony Gomez (Merida, Venezuela/Colegio Salesiano San Luis) led the Saints in kills with 8.  

• Senior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) and Sophomore Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) both led the team in aces with 1 each.

• Senior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) led the team in blocks with 2.

• Sophomore Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the match in assists with 13.

• Sophomore Taylor Stivers (Louisville, KY/Atherton) led the Saints in digs with 10.

• The Thomas More women's volleyball team returns to action on Thursday (October 9) against Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH.  The match is set for 7:00 PM.
