Nick Phyllis (Thunder Bay, Canada / Westgate / Nipissing / Madonna) of the men's soccer program at Thomas More was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week. This marks the second week in a row that a Saint has earned the honor.
Phyllis picks up this award following a week that saw the Saints go 1-0-1. On Thursday night the Saints defeated the Walsh Cavaliers 2 to 1. Phyllis the first goal of the match. On Saturday in a 2-2 tie with Findlay, Phyllis added to his productive week with a goal and an assist.
Phyllis and the Saints return to action on Thurday (October, 23rd) when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio Dominican Panthers. That match is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
