Saints and Oilers Draw

(Findlay, OH) - The Thomas More men's soccer team played Findlay University on Saturday (October 18th) evening. The final score of the game ended in 2-2 putting the game at a tie. The Saints record moves to 7-4-2 overall and 5-2-2 in conference.

• At the 21-minute mark Findlay finds the back of the net with a goal putting them ahead in the contest 1-0.
• Thomas Mores' Junior Nick Phyllis (Thunder Bay, Canada/ Westgate/ Nipissing University/ Madonna) responded by putting the first points for the Saints up on the board in the second half, 1-1.
• Junior Ramzi Termanini (Damascus, Syria/ Fort Pierce Central) hits a goal with an assist from Graduate student Julen Van Egmond and Nick Phyllis (Amsterdam, Netherlands/ St. Nicolaaslyceum) adding to the Saints score making it 2-1.
• Towards the end of the second half Findlay put up their final goal tying the score at 2-2. 

• Senior Drew Kendrick (Batavia, OH Batavia) had a goal of 3 saves during this competition.
• Both Nick Phyllis and Ramzi Termanini found the back of the net for one goal each.

The Saints will return Thursday evening (October 3rd) in Columbus, OH to play Ohio Dominican University at 7:00 P.M.
