(TIFFIN, OH.) – Thomas More University women's track and field compete at the Tiffin University Open on Saturday, January 25th. The Saints traveled up to northern Ohio to compete against the likes of a conference opponent and other talented track teams.
- Junior Makayla Abbott (Bedford, KY./Trimble County) led the Saints in the 400 meter run, placing 3rd with a time of 1:04.04.
- Junior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN./Guerin Catholic) followed close behind with a 4th place finish and a time of 1:04.53.
- The women's 4x400 meter relay team placed second with a time of 4:17.26.
- Junior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH./Georgetown) won the 3000 m race with a time of 11:19.88.
- Junior Maddie Johns (Louisville, KY./Louisville Male) led the Saints in the 200 m dash with a time of 29.33.
- First-Year Victoria Todd (Independence, KY./Kings Mills High School) and Sophomore McKenzie Bien (Harrison, OH./William Henry Harrison) scored for the Saints in the weight throw event, earning 4th and 10th and clearing 12.72 m and 10.68 m respectively.

After a strong start to the official indoor season, the team looks ahead to their next meet at Wittenberg on Saturday, February 1st.
