(Owensboro, KY) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team faced off against the University of West Alabama on Friday (September 13) during the first day of the KWC Tournament. The Saints defeated UWA in three sets. The Saints then went on to face Lake Superior State University and swept them. They now move to 4-2 overall on the season.

Match 1: Thomas More defeats West Alabama, 3-0.
- Thomas More won the opening set 26 to 24.
- Thomas More won the second set 25 to 22.
- Thomas More took the third set and won the match 25 to 16.
Match 2: Thomas More beats Lake Superior State, 3-0.
- Thomas More won the opening set 25 to 20.
- Thomas More won the second set 27 to 25.
- Thomas More swept LSSU 25 to 18 in the third set.

- Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) and Senior Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, KY/Scott County) both led the Saints in assists with 10 a piece.
- Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley) and Senior Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, KY/Scott County) both led in service aces with 1 each.
- Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led the match in digs with 12.
- Junior Brenna Young (Crestwood, KY/South Oldham) and Freshman Kat Koepke (New Haven, IN/New Haven Sr. High School) both led in blocks with 2 each.
Match 2:
