(KANSAS CITY, MO) – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced the 2023-24 recipients of the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award and the NABC Honors Court, which honors collegiate men's basketball teams and student-athletes. The Thomas More men's basketball program saw four student-athletes earn individual recognition. For student-athletes to be recognized, they must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and must have finished the 2023-24 school year with a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher.
The athletes recognized are redshirt junior Jalen Scott (Hebron, KY / Conner), junior Ryan Paris (Hilliard, OH / Hilliard Davidson), junior Kiernan Geraci (Independence, KY / Dixie Heights) and junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, KY / Saint Henry).
Both Ryan Paris and Kiernan Geraci also earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference honors.
