Hillsdale Sweeps Softball in Away Series

(HILLSDALE, MI)-Thomas More University's softball team fell to Hillsdale on Sunday afternoon (April 7), 3-1 in game one and 11-1 (5 innings) in game two. The Saints overall record falls to 7-27 and 2-12 in conference.

How they scored
Game 1:
  • Hillsdale scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning (0-3).
  • Graduate student Hailey McAdoo (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) was walked with the bases load to score junior Josie Wefer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) (1-3).
Game 2:
  • Hillsdale scored five runs in the bottom of the first and three runs in the bottoms of the second inning (0-8).
  • In the top of the fourth inning, senior Delaney Kemper (Williamstown, Ohio/Williamstown) singled to left field to score first year Anna Greenwell (Ft. Thomas, Ky./Highlands) (1-8).
