(MIDLAND, MI)-Thomas More University's softball team split with Northwood on Saturday (April, 6th). They dropped game one by a score of 1 to 0, before coming back to win game two by a score of 2 to 1. Thomas More is now 7-25 overall on the season and 2-10 in G-MAC play.
Game 1: Northwood 1-0
- Northwood scored the lone run of the game in the 4th inning on a sacrifice fly.
Game 2: Thomas More 2-1
- In the top of the 1st, first year Anna Greenwell (Fort Thomas, KY / Highlands) put down a sacrifice bunt to bring home the first run of the game.
- In the 4th inning, graduate student Sydney Bledsoe (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills) walked to bring in another run (2-0).
- Northwood would score a run in the 5th to make it 2 to 1.
Game 1:
- Graduate student Hailey McAdoo (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) went 1-3 at the plate for the Saints.

- Graduate student Annika Gels (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton) pitched 6.0 innings, allowing one run on 6 hits and struck out 7.
Game 2:
- First year Kylie Ropp (Bellefontaine, Ohio/Kenton Ridge) pitched 7.0 innings and picked up her first career win. She allowed 1 run on 7 hits and struck out 3.

The Saints return tomorrow (April, 7th) when they travel to face Hillsdale in a doubleheader. First pitch is at 1:00 PM.
