Softball Splits with Northwood to Open the Weekend

(MIDLAND, MI)-Thomas More University's softball team split with Northwood on Saturday (April, 6th). They dropped game one by a score of 1 to 0, before coming back to win game two by a score of 2 to 1. Thomas More is now 7-25 overall on the season and 2-10 in G-MAC play.

Game 1: Northwood 1-0
  • Northwood scored the lone run of the game in the 4th inning on a sacrifice fly.
Game 2: Thomas More 2-1
  • In the top of the 1st, first year Anna Greenwell (Fort Thomas, KY / Highlands) put down a sacrifice bunt to bring home the first run of the game.
  • In the 4th inning, graduate student Sydney Bledsoe (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills) walked to bring in another run (2-0).
  • Northwood would score a run in the 5th to make it 2 to 1.
