Saints Swept by Ashland in Sunday Doubleheader

(ASHLAND, OH)-Thomas More University's softball team fell to Ashland on Sunday (March 24th) in a doubleheader. They fell 6-2 in game one and 4-1 in game two. The Saints overall record falls to 5-19 and 0-4 in conference.

Game 1: Ashland 6-2
  • Ashland scored the games first 6 runs in the third inning to take the lead.
  • In the 7th inning, first year Shelby Hill (Liberty, IN / Union County) grounds out but brings in a run for an RBI (6-1)
  • Graduate student Becca Mowen (Eaton, OH / Eaton) hit an RBI single later in the inning to bring in another Saint run.
Game 2: Ashland 4-1
  • Ashland scored three runs in the third inning to take a lead.
