Men's Basketball Battle in Overtime Win Over Tiffin

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team defeated Tiffin on Saturday afternoon (Feb 3), 76-72. The Saints overall record improve to 13-9 and 8-6 in conference.
First Half
  • Junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) banged in a 3-point shot to get things started for the Saints and tie things up at 3-3 with 19:18 to play in the half.
  • With 15:45 to play, first year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) hit a 3-point basket to put the Saints up 12-8.
  • First year Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) made a jump shot to for the Saints final basket of their 9-0 over the Dragons with 9:49 in the half (23-16).
  • Junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) banged in a 3-pointer to extend the Saints lead to 29-22 with 5:36 on the clock.
  • Graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) made a jumper as time ran out in the first half to give the Saints a 38-32 lead going into the locker room at the half.
  • Reid Jolly led with 13 points and had two rebounds and an assist.
  • Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) led with three assists and had two rebounds and two points in the first half.
  • Jacob Jones led with three rebounds and had 12 points and two assists.
  • Junior Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) and Carson Browne also both tallied three rebounds to lead the team.
