Men's Basketball Falls to RV Kentucky Wesleyan

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team fell to RV Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (Feb 24), 80-70. The Saints overall record falls to 15-11 and 10-8 in conference.

• Junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) made a layup with 18:57 on the clock for the first basket of the game (2-0).
• With 14:26 to play in the first half, first year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) drove to the rim for a layup to put the Saints within one (8-9).
• Graduate Student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) hit a jump shot and one with 12:05 on the clock to put the Saints up by one (12-11).
• Senior Eli Howard (Newport, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) drained a 3-point basket to make it a 25-22 game with 6:30 to play in the half.
• Sophomore Mitchell Rylee (Ft. Mitchell, Ky./Covington Catholic) made a layup and one with one second left to play to tie the game up at 40-40 at the half.
• Nathan Dudukovich led the Saints with 16 points and had two rebounds.
• Reid Jolly led with two assists and had eight points and two rebounds.
• Mitchell Rylee led the team with three rebounds and two assists and had five points.
• The Saints were 55.2% (16-29) from the field, 40$ (4-10) from the 3-point line, and 80% (4-5) from the free throw line.

• Nathan Dudukovich drained a 3-point basket to kick off the second half with 19:26 on the clock to make it a 43-40 game.
• Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) drove to the rim for a layup to extend the Saints lead to 47-42 with 17:21 to play.
• Reid Jolly made a layup with 14:26 to play to put the Saints up 50-47.
• With 10:43 to play, Reid Jolly hit a jump shot to make it a 58-55 game.
• Junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) knocked in a 3-point shot to put the Saints within two with 7:21 to play (63-65).
• With 2:35 to play in the game, Wyatt Vieth would make the Saints final basket with a 3-pointer to make it a 3 point game (70-73).
• The Saints would fall 80-70 to the Panthers.
• Reid Jolly led the team in the second half with 16 points and one assist and had one rebound.
• Mitchell Rylee tallied four rebounds to lead the team.
• The Saints were 41.9% (13-31) from the field, 30% (3-10) from the 3-point line, and 50% (1-2) from the free throw line. 

• Reid Jolly led with 24 points and three assists and had three rebounds.
• Nathan Dudukovich followed with 21 points and had two rebounds.
• Mitchell Rylee led defensively with seven rebounds and had six points and two assists.
• The Saints were 48.3% (29-60) from the field, 35% (7-20) from the 3-point line, and 71.4% (5-7) from the free throw line.

The Saints return to action on Thursday (Feb 29) against Trevecca Nazarene at 7:30 pm ET in the Connor Convocation Center.
