Men's Basketball Drops to Kentucky Wesleyan in Double Overtime

(OWENSBORO, KY)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team fell to Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (Feb 17), 91-85, in double overtime.The Saints overall record falls to 15-10 and 10-7 in conference.

First Half
  • Red shirt junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) made a pull up shot to kick off the scoring with 19:28 on the clock to put the team up 2-0.
  • With 16:28 to play in the first half, graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) drained a 3-point basket to make it a 9-5 game.
  • Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) made a floating jump shot with 11:03 to play in the half (20-17).
  • First year Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) drove in for a layup to extend the lead to 28-22 with 7:33 on the clock in the half.
  • Casey George would hit a pull up shot with 3:19 left to play to make it a 36-32 game.
  • First year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) knocked in a 3-point basket with 37 left in the half for the Saints final basket of the half.
  • The Saints would lead 42-39 at the half going into the locker room.
  • Casey George would lead the team in the first half with 12 points three assists and three steals and had two rebounds.
  • Nathan Dudukovich also led with 12 points and had one rebound.
